Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent this role will be responsible for managing teams of maintainers and contractors to ensure safe completion of planned and unplanned maintenance to meet the FMG Port operational requirements.

Other duties include developing and maintaining detailed procedures and plans to ensure effective maintenance is completed on time and within budget, ensuring shutdowns are executed to plan and managing and reporting on costs while complying at all times with Fortescue and  policy and procedures.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

• 5 years post trade mining experience
• WA Electrical fitter license essential
• Front Line Management qualifications would be desirable
• Previous experience with electrical maintenance of balance machines, car dumpers and marine structures  
• Previous experience with shutdown supervision and execution of work-packs
• Application and use of modern CMMS maintenance management systems
• High level of written and verbal communication
