We are looking for an experienced individual to provide expertise relating to the acquisition, regulation, compliance, and administration of surface land issues to new and existing construction projects and to operating assets. This important position also provides mentorship to junior land staff.

 Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinate survey and land acquisition for new and existing pipeline, facility and power projects and other land related issues in all provinces;
• Interact with landowners, special interest groups, regulatory representatives, and aboriginal groups;
• Respond to internal and external stakeholders, and assist with the resolution of any questions and concerns;
• Administer acquisition documentation, damage settlements, rental reviews and lease amendments;
• Perform ongoing file maintenance and integrity checks, including the entry of lease file data on land system;
• Ensure the accurate coding of project invoices and payments as well as the execution of files, documents, land title registrations and construction packages;
• Attend and participate in all district and departmental meetings;
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.

Qualifications:

• Land Administration Diploma or Certificate coupled with a minimum of four years related experience; 
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills; 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as exposure to CGI Landman, Accumap, and Qbyte FM;
• Confident, detail orientated and enthusiastic team player with superior interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
