THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by an international oil & gas operating company to provide two Planning Engineers to work in Algeria. 1 year (renewable) contract. Rotation 28 / 28. Excellent T&Cs / daily rate.
THE PERSON
Must have at least 10 years of previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. Role responsibilities include ensuring the integration management and control of the multi EPC Contractors schedules and that they are properly planned, measured and accurately reported in line with the Project Schedule and the Project Control Central Office Procedures. Create planning reports and forecasts as required and produce planning presentation materials as requested by the ELM Lead Site Planner and Project Controls Central Office. Prepare, implement and administer all aspects of planning and scheduling control, schedule change, trend control and system maintenance in accordance with the requirements of project controls procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related discipline. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel & Primavera Project Management P6 software. Ability to work as part of an integrated team and interface with EPC contractors on project control issues. Ability to work in a culturally diverse and potentially challenging environment. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. Knowledge of French advantageous.
