Plans, develops, promotes and coordinates sales of phosphate products and/or other by-products produced by SBU Phosphate. Ensures that optimum profitability is achieved within established sales and marketing policies and objectives.  Co-ordinates with Ma’aden offices’ management on major aspects related to sales.  Ensuring the preparation of all Management Reports.  Participating in conducting surveys and other studies ensuring proper response and clarification provided to concerned parties.

Planning and Sales Functions 

• Plans sales of Precious Metals Products to consumers under his/her jurisdiction within established sales and marketing policy and objectives.
• Coordinates and negotiates Spot sales and Term sales contracts within established terms and conditions and follows up implementation accordingly.
• Initiates and coordinates with the local Banks/Financial Institutions of the countries where the sales deals are to be finalized, in order to expedite the deals and help those companies for availability of funds.  Also, coordinates with Ma’aden Finance department concerning those matters.
• Promote the company as a leader in gold and precious metals industry.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures they are implemented within the team.
• Assist Sales Manager in Strategic Planning of the department and to achieve overall goals and objectives.
• Prepares, annual capital, expense and manpower budgets and participates in preparation/consolidation of the same for the department.

Customer Relationship

• Maintain close relationship with customers to gain clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
• Coordinates with the concerned departments regarding customer’s requirements, complaints and disputes to ensure that contract terms are implemented in the right manner.
• Conducts periodic review of term contracts stipulations and monitors contracts performance.
• Ensures proper response and clarification with regard to any queries raised by any concerned party with respect to Sales activities.
• Participates in conducting various studies/surveys related to marketing of precious metals products.

Implementation progress

• Provides the Sales Manager – Precious Metals of weekly / monthly reports of sales and activities.
• Coordinates and ensuring the preparation of all management reports for which the division/department is responsible.

Ad-Hoc Studies

• Analyses, maintains and submits within the framework, international pricing trend and trading conditions to assigned superiors.
• Analyses and recommends sales investments (including acquisition of complex marketing companies), joint venture operations etc. which may enhance profitability and growth in the world market.

Keeps abreast of the latest developments industry trends, precious metals economics and other related information on marketing and provides management with findings and recommendations.

Records

• Ensures complete records and history files for relevant mining projects of the Company.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Business Administration / Economics / Industrial/ Mining / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

 10 years varied experience in selling/marketing activities of industrial commodities/oil and or related products with 2 years of varied experience in International fertilizer sales is preferred.
