Job Details
The Project Manager will provide management services for new capital projects, including conducting site surveys, cost estimation, coordinating with design firms, company resources, construction and contractors. They will also provide oversight of project schedules and project budgets. They will coordinate with the company Global Support Center on all relevant technical standards and information sharing. They will provide technical savvy and facilitate new and innovative solutions to the company operations.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in heavy industry or mineral processing industry in the operations and/or engineering field with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in project management. They will have an advanced degree in Process, Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience and will have a solid knowledge base in industrial mineral processing techniques and processes. They must exhibit strong leadership, interpersonal and team building skills and have an ability to work across discipline boundaries. Effective computer, presentation and communication skills along with a commitment to building a safe, effective and positive work environment throughout the organizations operations are also necessary.
This position will be based at the company headquarters in Ohio and travel to work sites and operations throughout North and South America as needed.
