Willing to assist in relocation, our clients are experiencing growth and require Underground Engineers for their Canadian projects such as Chief and Senior Mining Engineers. Responsibilities may include providing technical support to ongoing operations and expansion of the mine development. Other duties may be the mine planning, scheduling, blast, pit & dump design, production scheduling and will also have input into the planning, coordinating and implementing of the engineering budget. You will help monitor the mine optimization and have an impact in the continued development of the mine and mill feed.
Combined with a Mining or Geological Engineering or relevant discipline and knowledge of engineering as it applies to ore body evaluation, modeling and operations is required, you will have 5+ years of relevant experience in budgeting, mine planning, blast and mine design and mine production. Strong computer skills and mastery of one mining software package combined with strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written) and proven organization skills are essential.
