To lead a team of Warehouse Operatives, Customs, Rentals and Preservation Coordinators so that all functions associated with Logistics and Client Owned Equipment is managed and monitored in a professional and ethical manner with due regards to cost, delivery, quality and continuous improvement.
Ensure the issuing and storage of Equipment at onsite / offsite locations are controlled and are completed within time scales given while ensuring suitable resources are available to execute all required activities in a safe and cost effective manner.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Ensure that all procedures are complied with and all actions are auditable while also maintaining the highest personal, professional and ethical standards.
• Supervise Team to ensure best Practice in all areas
• Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to the team and support their development, help identify training for everyone who reports to this position.
• To ensure that all activities identified within the department are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure all Areas reporting to this role is run within budget
• Ensure the storage of equipment with the yard area is completed in a safe manner.
• Control and manage stock levels within department
• Ensure the Customs department is in  compliance with current legislation
• Compilation and analysis of Key Performance Indicators to ensure optimised throughput of goods.  
• Ensure the accuracy of Client Owned inventory is maintained at all times.  
• Maintain existing and implement new contracts with 3rd Party Suppliers (Forklifts / Transport etc)
• Within Client owned equipment assist and control Client Audits  
• Recommend  and formalise audit process to streamline all internal processes with a view to improving throughput
• Perform annual performance reviews for team members.
• Actively participate in Aker Solutions quality and value culture.
• Fulfil HSE responsibilities in line with Aker Solutions policy’s and management system.
• Establish objectives for each direct report which is consistent with departmental objectives.
• Ensure that agreed objectives and targets are achieved.
• Assist the Operations Management Team as required.


As necessary, perform other duties, requiring essentially the same level of skill and responsibility, when required.
