PROJECT ENGINEER

As one of the world's leading engineering companies, my client helps their customers to use electrical power effectively and to increase industrial productivity in a sustainable way. They operate in around 100 countries and employ about 145,000 people.

Reporting to the Project Manager your main objective will be to provide the deliver of electrical projects and is the interface between my client and the customer project requirements.  You will be involved through the whole process from project order until project closure.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manages the delivery of electrical projects for my client in line with the Project Schedule, Scope of Supply and Contractual requirements
• Manages design reviews, preFAT, FAT and SAT to the project requirements
• Collates and publishes progress reports, financial reports and progress payment invoices during the course of the project
• Provides a customer interface for the resources assigned to the project.
• Maintains a resource requirement register and attends resource allocation meetings with the QARM to achieve sufficient resource allocation
• Maintains a constant and harmonious progress towards completion of projects.
• Maintains quality of work and achievement of key performance KPI by the project.

The successful candidate MUST have previous STRONG experience within electrical engineering, working with Power systems Substations and switch rooms.

This is a permanent Perth based role; however site visits will be required when necessary.

SALARY = $130k + SUPER
