I am currently representing a leading boutique consultancy in the Brisbane CBD that specialises in electrical network consultancy.

They are seeking to appoint an experienced Controls Testing/Commissioning Engineer to assume a technical leadership role within their rapidly growing generator performance testing group.  

This role will see you closely with their engineering experts in the Generator Performance Standards and model-validation (PSS/e) teams, leading the delivery of testing projects and liaise with their alliance partner in Canada.

They offer regulatory advice, compliance and review, connection agreement negotiations, major connection strategy and due diligence, network planning and strategic development, dynamic analysis, protection and power quality.

To apply for this position you should have approximately 10 years plus experience in power system controls (governor/excitation systems), have had on site power station performance testing/commissioning experience and have working knowledge of National Electricity Rules for Generator Performance Standards.
