Report directly into the Project Director who has 15 years experience, and is well regarded for his approach to leadership and mentorship. He is taking a step up from this role to Project Director.

The current set up allows for regular direct access to the National Manager of Mining, who is committed to internal and external development for his staff with an emphaiss on leadership training.  He holds 25 years experience in surface mining and believes in developing his people up the food chain.

This pairing should provide a direct pathway to developing to a Project Director level yourself over the next few years.

This Australian mining services group carries a broad project portfolio across Asia Pacific in both open pit and underground environments, with a few further large scale additions in WA due to come online over 2012/2013.

Contract extended for another 3 years
Currently producing 57 MTPA

Responsible for Contract Management
Take on total project performance and providing solutions 
Project Review Meetings
Responsible for safety systems and compliance
Supervising Drill & Blast operations Planning/scheduling of stripping & mining operations

Implement environmental management plan
Responsible for forecasting
Training and developing staff
FIFO 8/6 from any major Australian city

To be considered for this role you will have a 10 years mining experience with a strong safety record in Australia and an Unrestricted QM Ticket. B.Eng Mining is an advantage.
