Taking pride in promoting excellence and creating positive outcomes for its employees and its neighbouring communities, Atlas leads by example through conducting themselves in a culturally and environmentally sensitive manner at all times.
The business currently has a strong pipeline of quality resource projects set to underpin rapid growth in the Pilbara region. With a projected growth from two to five mining operations within the next two years, Atlas is increasing in workforce to support its rapid growth.

As Mine Superintendent, you will ensure that mine development and production mining activities are executed within the short and medium term mine plans in order to achieve new operational goals and targets.
Role Requirements
To be considered for these opportunities you will offer a Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency and Degree in Engineering (or equivalent). A first class mine managers certificate would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
A proven track record of 8 years + in the resources industry with related experience in open pit mine development and scheduling is critical. A valid Australian manual driver’s licence is needed.
You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and possess good time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
People leadership capability is needed to effectively lead, instruct, support and mentor mine personnel, as is, an ability to manage contractors and external relationships.
An honest and open communicator, with people management experience, would complement the Atlas culture.
