This mining company is looking for people whose ambitions and skill will assist them in implementing new technologies and philosophies to achieve their goals as a safe work environment and an environmentally responsible mining organization.
As the Senior Environmental Leader reporting to the environmental superintendent, you will oversee the environmental team, including the aboriginal affairs coordinator.
In this role you will be providing support, supervision and direction of the overall environmental program. You will be working with the locale environment agencies and have an understanding of agreements with the Aboriginal Communities. You will require excellent knowledge of provincial and federal legislation including the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act and Regulations.
The ideal candidate will have over nine years of environmental experience in an industrial setting, preferably in mining with significant leadership experience
