PotashCorp the world's largest fertilizer company, producing potash, phosphate and nitrogen for plant minerals, animal feed supplements and industrial uses, has a career opportunity for a qualified applicant at PotashCorp – Cory, located 8 km west of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Chief Maintenance Engineer, the Project Engineer is responsible for mechanical and structural modifications and improvements, process development, capital and non-capital projects, evaluation of operating and maintenance problems, equipment selection, product quality and environmental control in the mill and auxiliary surface facilities.  The incumbent may supervise outside service providers and consultants, as required.

The successful candidate will possess an Engineering Degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 3 or more years experience in the planning and maintenance of operating equipment in an industrial setting, previous direct supervisory experience is an asset.  Demonstrated commitment to safety along with strong leadership qualities are a must.  Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required complemented by strong computer skills.

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check.  All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
