One of the world’s leading  mining companies is currently seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to provide strategical leadership, implement health and safety policy and procedures and liaise and support exploration activities on site. This opportunity will be based in Guinea with a flexible 6/3 rotation policy offered.

The successful candidate must ensure that all operational and associated activities meets/exceeds organisational standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Health and Safety mining experience in Africa.
• Fluency in French
• Working knowledge of international health and safety standards,policies and procedures.
• Managing and liaising with all levels across disciplines to foster a positive health and safety culture across the site/s.
• Strong hazard identification and risk control/assessment methodology.
• Environmental knowledge

This opportunity requires an experienced senior Health, Safety and Environmental professional who has worked in the mining sector in Africa.
