- Deliver/facilitate on and off the job Competency Based Development in field of expertise in order to meet customer development needs and quality standards
- Create competency based learning materials so that learning programs delivered achieve their intended learning outcomes
- Create competency based assessment tools, professionally conduct on and off the job competency assessments in field of expertise in order to ensure assessment standards are met
- Develop and communicate learning program schedules, implement schedules to ensure that programs are delivered as planned and meet customer requirements.
- Accurately record and report participant learning and assessment results so that participant records are consistently kept up to date and recorded in the company learning management system
- Respond to customer learning and development requirements. Provide appropriate technical support and advice in order to assist, meet/exceed customer expectations
- Develop the technical and instructional skills of instructors and assistant instructors so that they are able to effectively deliver and assess competency based learning programs
- Provide a competent technical support service to customers in order to assist customers to fault find and diagnose challenging technical problems that occur with equipment and systems
- Coordinate competency based learning projects so that these projects are completed on time and within budget
- Perform other duties as required
- Achieved the Master tradesman level and ten (10) years directly related experience in the appropriate trade, ORBachelor's degree and five (5) years directly related experience in the appropriate trade and/or as a technical instructor for that trade
Preferred Qualification
- High School diploma or GED

- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
