 GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will safely and effectively move drill to designated location and maneuver into position to drill blast holes, drill holes according to drill pattern, maintains bits, hammers and steel tubes and can change steels as needed and ensure all drill & blasting standards are followed, inspects and maintains drill’s mechanisms, lubricant systems and fluid levels. Employee is expected to operate equipment unit with a high degree of competence, skill and proficiency. Other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• A minimum of two years operating blast hole drills or reverse circulation exploration drills preferred
• Heavy equipment operating experience preferred
• Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team required
• Demonstrate ability to follow written and/or verbal instruction required
• Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance records required
• Demonstrate ability to perform the essential functions of this job required
