My client is one of Australia’s largest private Consulting Engineering Groups that undertakes Materials Handling projects for the Warehousing and Logistics industries across a broad range of projects, from studies and conceptual design development through to detailed design, construction roles and project management.   Due to an increasing workload, they are seeking the services of a Mechanical Draftsperson with experience in mechanical drafting and detailing of their range of equipment starting soon.   Applicants must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment under minimal supervision. Aspects of the work will involve coordination across various disciplines and management of time and progress.   Essential Skills/Experience: Materials Handling background of 3-5 years drafting experience, Essential AutoCAD 2D Competency. Certificate or Diploma of Engineering.   Drafting and detailing of Structural, Commercial and Industrial Projects. Ability to work in a team environment, without constant supervision. Be responsible for your own output and accountable. Ability to communicate with clients and sub consultants.
