Subcontracts Administrator – Houston, TX

Our Subcontracts Administrator position will provide you with the opportunity to apply your professional procurement and contracts experience supporting Energy and Chemicals projects. Each day you will be an important team member that ensures our Client has the critically needed equipment, materials and services in place and within budget. You should be a self motivated, detailed oriented professional with at least 6 years in contract management, with specific experience in subcontract management for small to medium sized projects in the Oil, Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical Energy industries.

Our Subcontracts Administrator:

• Administers subcontract information required to support Project Proposal preparation with regard to subcontractor pricing, execution write-ups and the main-hours/cost to be allocated to the subcontractoing effort required
• Conducts Prime contract flow-down review and formation of project- specific subcontract documents
• Solicits Proposals in accordance with Company Procedures and Project requirements
• Participates/leads negotiations of contract terms and pricing issue
• Prepares documents for contract award and understands budget compliance
• Undertakes all aspects of subcontract administration for the PRoject, from selection of bidders to closeout of subcontracts and records retention. Specific attention to Change management and the financial status of each subcontract

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree (BA or BS)or equivalent experience
• 6 years in contract management with specific experience subcontracting in oil, gas, chemical or petrochemical industries

Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
