Currently we require two Dewatering Technicians to assist the team at the Windarling mine site, on a 9/5 FIFO roster. These positions are available for an immediate start, on fixed term contract until 31st December 2012.

THE ROLE ASSISTS WITH THE COORDINATION OF THE EFFECTIVE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF:

•Pit Dewatering activities
•Reverse osmosis water treatment plants
•Waste water treatment plants
•The supply of water for dust suppression
•Associated equipment and system supporting the mine site operations
•Pump rebuilding, fault finding and maintenance as required
•Assisting the supervisor and other technicians in planning and implementing strategies

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

•Poly welding Certificate of Competency
•Experience within pipe-laying, pipe, butt, fusion and extrusion welding
•Previous experience working FIFO or remote/site based work
•WA Drivers licence
