SALES GENERAL APPLICATION
Main Responsibilities
- Manage All Direct Sales for Costa Rica Import & Export
- Manage sales activities to achieve the annual budget and other internal targets.
- Drive overall focus on client needs.
- Provide feedback for the trades and sales management about market conditions with regard to pricing and competitor activity.
- Ensure prompt response to queries and follow up on all complaints and problems, as a representative of the company.
- Communication should be effective, both in content and presentation.
Other Responsibilities:
Sales:
Day to day relationship building through visits and meeting with the clients
Bring new business from a new or existing account
Negotiation:
Contract / Rate negotiations, Tender Handling.
Social:
Entertainment with clients and special events, attend appointment requests for local & overseas visitors.
Marketing:
Present Maersk services, development sales tools.
Strategy:
Set and execute client strategy, update Marketing Plan,
Operations:
Request booking from active clients, prepare priority list for equipment space, prepare Long term forecast.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in Sales, shipping knowledge a plus
Fluent in Spanish and English
Excellent communication skills, persuasive, interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure, results oriented, ability to provide an excellent customer experience.
