Our Client specializes in stress analysis; failure analysis; fracture mechanics; corrosion, fatigue and creep analysis; metallurgy and materials; nondestructive testing and structural monitoring and instrumentation.
Our Client has an immediate need for an Engineer/Sr. Engineer in its Denver, Colorado office. The ideal candidate will possess a background in the Nuclear, Fossil, or the Oil and Gas industry. You should have piping and/or corrosion engineering experience. The candidate will possess a solid foundation in engineering principles and have a minimum of 6 years engineering related experience.
Nuclear experience is highly preferred. After that, O&G or fossil will be considered. Because Nuclear is preferred a power plant setting (facility) is ideal but interstate pipeline (O&G) candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop buried piping and underground asset integrity programs for client specific challenges and unique infrastructure and environments
- Review and manipulate Graphical Information Systems (GIS) digitization of nuclear plant data for accuracy and completeness
- Compile data for risk ranking and other industry driven solutions
- Usage of various software, engineering tools, and sound engineering judgment to provide verification of data
- Provide engineering expertise including, but not limited to: risk scoring a power plant’s piping systems, data filtering, manipulation, and analysis, and develop lists of what data is driving risk scores
- Write and review engineering reports
- Check and verify all data under the requirements of our commercial quality assurance program
- Be responsible and accountable for quality of all client deliverables
- Manage client contact, deliverables, supporting project resources, and status reports and communication with client
- Manage all data with client, perform data entry and minor GIS data manipulation, channel data to project team, and manage all work flow deadlines and deliverables
- Provide customized training on systems and applications to clients
- Present high level project overviews to a plant’s management team
- Manage project scope, schedule, resources, and all client deliverables with an emphasis on quality
Candidates mus be willing to relocate to Denver. Relocation assistance is provided.

MINIMUM 6 YEARS EXPERIENCE
ABILITY TO READ AND INTERPRET PLANT/FACILITY DRAWINGS
