THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Pipeline Back End Supervisor to be based in Nigeria. 4x4 rotation. 1 year contract. Attractive rate / terms and conditions.
THE PERSON
Minimum 10 years of cross country pipeline construction proven successful experience in an equivalent position on large diameter pipelines. Experience in Nigeria advantageous. Strong background in cross country pipeline construction. Experience in heavy lift operations on large diameter pipe. Proven experience with horizontal drilling a plus. Monitor all pipeline construction activities from field joint coating crew back to reinstatement crew. Ensure HSE compliance of above activities with project and company specifications. Give required assistance to site representative.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree qualified candidates preferred. Proven leadership capabilities, strong reporting and organisational skills. Autonomous, self motivating but active team player. Computer literacy required. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. French also advantageous. Must be eligible to reside and work in Nigeria.
