It offers outstanding career opportunities and a safe, friendly lifestyle for singles and families.   Overview  We are currently seeking an experienced Business Improvement Specialist to join our team.  You will be responsible for providing service and support to the processing department in order to realise and track operating efficiencies and improvements.   The Position

• Supporting and implementing the vision, strategy and principles associated with the Barrick culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coaching the workforce in and supporting the effective deployment of BI principles, tools and techniques.
• Working with management and staff in reviewing the current state looking for opportunities for improvement.
• Developing and implementing strategies to address the opportunities through problem solving or lean tools and techniques.
• Being accountable for the development of the improvement plan while ensuring proper follow-up, tracking the benefits, standardization of changes and ensuring success.
• Effectively engaging the workforce to realize improvement opportunities and goals.

• Minimum of 5 years practical Engineering / Operations experience working in a mining, minerals processing or related field
• Supervisory Experience
