THE ROLE
A major international oil & gas operating company has requested CCL to provide a Fabrication Engineer to be based in Angola. Rotational position. Excellent rate / terms and conditions.
THE PERSON
At least 20 years of diversified experience in Oil and Gas industry with at least 5 in a senior supervisory position within fabrication. Role is site-based reporting to Jumper Fabrication Lead and primarily focused on optomisation and supervision of junper fabrication activities. Responsibilities include promoting excellent HSE culture. Establish and maintain positive relationships within the subsea operations team and with key contractor personnell. Optomising and improving the design process in order to ensure that the information required for fabrication of well jumpers is available. Poviding detailed analysis highlighting fabrication progress and identify potential areas of concern.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will possess a degree in an engineering discipline. Chartered or equivalent status. Detailed knowledge of fabrication, welding, testing and coating techniques. Detaild undrstanding of quality management sysems and their application processes. Ability to identify, analyse and respond to project opportunities. Experience working in culturally diverse and potentially challenging environment. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential.
