Maranoa is a dynamic and vibrant regional community situated approximately 500 kilometres west of Brisbane, South West Queensland. With a strong focus on energy applications, you will be responsible for leading all stages of the project development and implementation lifecycle – from identification and evaluation through to modelling, design and documentation. You will also play a key role in the identification of system expansion and maintenance/upgrade requirements to meet projected road, water, sewerage and energy needs. In addition, you will have oversight of significant plant and fleet assets.
A tertiary qualified Engineer with a strong management background, you will be fully experienced in managing all aspects of a diverse engineering resource. Your technical expertise will include exceptional asset management skills particularly in design and implementation, extensive IDAS system experience and a thorough understanding of all elements of civil works projects. In addition, you will be familiar with associated QA and risk management principles. On a personal level, you will be a natural leader with the innate ability to build and motivate project teams across diverse, challenging applications, while leaving your own ‘footprint’ and influence on key projects.
