The System Engineering department has been created to manage the system aspects of the Subsea production system. Responsibilities are carried out whereby normal line management reporting is to the Principal Engineer of Hydraulics Analysis Discipline, but project reporting is directly to the Project Manager or Project Engineer



 Respond to tasking requests and reporting progress to the Discipline Principal Engineer.
 Delivering the timely issue of analysis reports for the Analysis discipline.
 Handling discipline specific external & internal communications for the Analysis Team.
 Familiarity and compliance with company procedures, project specifications and statutory regulations so that a standard approach to design is adopted whilst satisfying customer requirements for the Analysis discipline.
 Conducting tasks within agreed time scales and budgets and reporting status and deviations to the Discipline Principal Engineer.
 Ensure documents are fit for purpose & meet all client requirements.
 Awareness of lessons learnt from all previous company projects & implementation.
 Participate in Technical Forums in the Analysis discipline.
 Provide support on technical development issues relevant to Hydraulic Analysis
 Participate as Analysis discipline in the training to improve engineers.
 Engineering duties on Tendering, Study and Project work, including advising on system specification, documentation and report progress to the Discipline Principal Engineer.
 Ensure system & components are fit for purpose & meet all statutory requirements.
 Participate in system design at system design reviews & ensure that work package design achieves system requirements.
 When required to provide support to sites within UK or internationally.



Degree and professional experience in a relevant discipline
Detailed knowledge of ANSYS, COSMOS or similar analysis package
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software or equivalent business software


Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge in SAP.
Extensive theoretical and working knowledge of Structural aspects of Subsea Production Systems

Ability to solve and come up with well thought practical solutions.
Provide the best solutions in terms of quality and cost.
Be a self-starter in order to achieve tasks and overcome problems as well as provide direction for others.
High regard for attention to detail.
Create a culture of continuous improvement.
Encourage a high level of performance in self and others.
Develop networks and identify resources as and when necessary.
Good communication and presentation skills.
