 GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: Develop and coordinate IH initiatives and sampling strategy; develop and recommend control strategies for all over exposures; develop/implement/evaluate health testing programs, protocols and strategy for site. Develop/implement/evaluate/maintain site Respiratory Protection Program, Hearing Conservation Program, Hazcom Program. Develop and provide IH training for all employees when applicable; support IH Technician in monitoring and recommendations. Assist divisions with toolbox and other training sessions when applicable; assist in all aspects of IH training for employees; assist and instruct MSHA topics with New Hires and ART as required; teach, coach, mentor and act as a resource for hourly safety teams; provide Visible Felt Safety Leadership/Field Time throughout divisions/site- coaching, mentoring, training technicians and management; and assist with MSHA inspections as needed. Other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health or related degree required
• One year experience in the mining industry preferred
• Strong computer skills MS Office required
• Excellent communication & organizational skills required
• Results driven leader, will to succeed and be coached required
• Proven safe work record required
