This engineering consultancy is a leading renewable energy provider nationally, with a history extending over 90 years they have a solid project base and continue to grow within the market. Due to an increasing demand for renewable energy technology they have the need for a civil designer to join their Melbourne based team on a contractual basis.

The successful applicant will have refined skills in the use of AutoCAD, 12D and Civil 3D as well as experience in civil projects such as earthworks, land development, water, drainage, roads etc. Any further experience in the drawings of substations, foundations, gantries and other structures will be highly regarded.

You will have a highly motivated attitude in order to achieve the desired result in a timely manner. You will contribute to this dynamic work environment as an experienced designer working closely with the engineering team.

You will possess:

• A high level of technical ability
• Previous experience with in reputable Australian engineering consultancies
• Strong attention to detail
• At least 2 years experience
• Proficient AutoCAD skills
• Knowledge in 12D or Civil 3D
• Time management and ability to maintain completion dates
• Exceptional Communication skills and ability to build rapport with team members
