  The Role    Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor you will focus on all maintenance activities across the processing and crushing plants.   With a background in fixed plant maintenance, the successful candidate must have the drive and ability to work with the maintenance team, deliver results and to contribute to development of ongoing preventative maintenance strategies utilising the Maintenance Management System (Pronto) that is in place.     To be successful   To be considered for this role you must have the ability to demonstrate experience/qualifications in the following areas:-  

  • High commitment to safe working practices at all times.
  • Mechanical trade which is Australian recognised
  • Highly regarded but not essential: experience with the maintenance of mining or heavy industrial fixed plant, including gold process plants, gyratory & jaw crushers,  conveyor systems and plant hydraulics.
  • Demonstrate sound fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Work with computerised maintenance systems.
  • Proactive approach and drive and commitment to deliver results.
  • Well developed written and oral communication skills.

    Edna May Gold Project Edna May Gold Project is conveniently positioned just 2 kilometres from the town of Westonia, on the eastern edge of WA’s Wheatbelt region. The mine is half way between Perth and Kalgoorlie and ideally situated to be serviced by either of these major mining centres. Edna May employs around 150 people including contractors. The workforce can choose to live locally in Westonia, Merredin or surrounding regional communities or DIDO (drive in drive out) from Perth, on company provided transport. Edna May has a newly built accommodation village offering modern ensuite (single) rooms with quality meals.
