Currently Barrick has an opening for a Manager – Corporate Investigations (Forensic Accounting) working as a part of the Global Security Investigations Group (Corporate Security) based in Toronto, Canada. Below are the key responsibilities for the position and qualifications. The overall key objectives for this role include: The Global Investigations and Security Governance Group is a part of the Asset Protection and Crisis Management functional area with additional oversight and reporting to the Office of the General Counsel. As a qualified finance professional, the Manager – Corporate Investigations (Forensic Accounting) will work within the Barrick Corporate Security Group and will support the Director – Global Security Investigations by providing expert assistance in the analysis of financial information to support internal investigations, undertake fraud risk assessments and reviews and other tasks as directed. This is a leadership role with the need to be able to work in the field with a diverse group of people on a global basis in addition to maintaining close liaison with the legal function within the company. The position will include significant travel to operations, projects and offices.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o   Support complex internal investigations into actual or potential breaches of internal policies or procedures.o   Analyze, interpret, summarize and present complex financial and business related matters relevant to internal investigations.o   Support the Fraud Management Program by providing forensic accounting expertise.o   Other investigative, financial or governance support as directed. KEY COMPETENCY AREAS: The ideal candidate for this position would demonstrate the following primary knowledge, skills, and attributes: Self-Management and Personal Traits:

 Minimum qualifications for this position:   Education and Experience; ·         Degree in Accounting or related field and a minimum of 10 years practical experience.·         Certified Fraud Examiner/Internal Auditor·         Experience in conducting complex financial investigations·         Computer literacy·         Experience in the gold/platinum mining sector (desired)·         Spanish language skills highly regarded
