THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by an international Oil & Gas exploration and production company to recruit a Pipeline Operations Engineer to be based in Texas. Must have valid drivers license, be prepared to wear personal protective equipment and travel as required by client. Attractive rate / terms and conditions. This vacancy is being handled by our Houston office.
THE PERSON
7-10 years of experience in pipeline design, construction, maintenance and operations preferably within onshore oil & gas. Role responsibilities include maintaining project schedules, including front end loading, detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning and startup project stages. Reporting monthly project costs and identify critical issues. Providing project scheduling, cost control, cost estimating, cost forecasting, management of change, and other project support functions and activities, as instructed by management. Creating, maintaining, updating, and analyzing project and schedules and budgets. Forecast costs at completion, management of change, cost estimating, and issuing reports to the Project Team and Management, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will have bachelors degree or equivalent in engineering discipline. Proficiency in relevant computer programs including MS Office and working knowledge of Oracle financials. Knowledge of governmental compliance requirements and engineering standards. Supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent written and spoken English. Must be eligible to live and work in the United States.
