Mincor is seeking a senior level Exploration Geologist for a well-funded exploration program in Papua New Guinea - a ground floor opportunity to apply and gain exceptional geological experience and grow within a highly professional organisation that values its people above all else.

We are looking for applicants with approx 10-15 years exploration experience with a sound knowledge of the intricacies of exploring for porphyry and epithermal deposits, especially in the tropics. The role will provide an exceptional opportunity to apply this knowledge and provide technical management to an enthusiastic team in one of the most prospective environments on Earth. Targets range from brownfields to established prospects to early-stage concepts and present a very real opportunity to discover a world-class ore body.

This could either be a staff or a contract position, PNG based or FIFO on a 4-2 roster preferably out of an East Coast base such as Cairns or Brisbane. A highly competitive salary package will be negotiated that is commensurate with experience.
