Job description:

Senior Mine Geologist - $176K - $155K – Iron Ore Greenfields

 

As the Senior Mine Geologist you will be the most senior geologist on site. You will be reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent and be given the responsibility to run the Geology for the site.



To begin with you will oversee a team of 3 and as production ramps up you will recruit further team members to assist.



 

The mine is in initial production phase –you will be a integral part in getting this Greenfields operations to target of 4Mt per annum. Give the authority to make major decisions for the Geology department and if there are changes you want to make you will be able to do this reasonably quickly as the company is self-funded.



 

The mine has a solid mine life of 5-10 years plus they have continued exploration and development currently happening around the site hub to increase this further.

 



To be considered you will have 6-10+ years experience as a Mine Geologist with relevant Senior responsibilities.
