New Opportunity

Atlas is building capacity to deliver growth on its exploration targets and is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to join their professional Geology team.

Reporting to the Exploration Manager, the primary purpose of the Field Supervisor is to coordinate and supervise Field Assistants to ensure field duties are carried out in a safe and efficient manner that will ultimately provide support to the Geologists.

In addition, the Field Supervisor will manage and coordinate camp and field requirements with respect to logistics and field safety. They will also undertake environmental duties, as required, and increase the awareness and understanding of environmental issues on location.

The role will FIFO out of Perth on a 12 and 9 basis.

Role Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you will offer current experience of running exploration camps and training and supervising of field crews. You will have sound knowledge of drill rigs, sampling techniques, QAQC and drill program requirements.

A current manual Western Australian drivers licence is mandatory, as is, a valid senior first aid or remote first aid certificate. 4WD driver training, HR licence and forklift ticket would be valuable.

Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (in particular Excel) is required.

An ability to motivate a remote team during times of change and business growth is important. Good communication skills to liaise with third party contractors and site personnel is needed. A commitment to practical solutions for exploration will see you succeed in this role.
