Working in the Mining Group’s North Bay office of this proactive organization that provides second to none client service, the Senior Electrical Engineer will design electrical controls systems for mine infrastructure projects including single line, wiring and schematic, interconnection and loop instrumentation drawings.
With excellent knowledge of applicable design codes and the Canadian Electrical code, the ideal candidate will be proficient in the design, specification and commissioning of medium and low voltage power distribution systems and motor control installations, including across the line starters, soft starters and VFDs.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a P.Eng. designation combined with 8+ years applicable experience (underground mining experience is an asset) and familiarity with Mine Health and Safety Regulations.
