We are seeking a motivated individual with a desire to work in the outdoors to be considered for a Mine Technician position within our Technical Services team at our Macraes mine. The team provides a wide range of support to the mining function and requires flexibility and a willingness to undertake a variety of duties. This position operates on a rotating roster system, which includes weekends and nights.

The position will involve:

• Coordinating and supervising the extraction of ore from pit;
• Assisting geological personnel with daily grade control and production activities.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

Ideally we are seeking candidates with:

• A qualification in earth sciences or previous experience in a related technician role.
• A current full drivers license;
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised as well as the ability to work constructively in a team environment.
• An excellent work ethic and the ability to follow strict quality control procedures.
