Coeur Rochester, Inc., a subsidiary of Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation, is seeking an experienced Mining Engineer for its surface heap leach operations east of Lovelock Nevada.  The position will be primarily responsible for project engineering, plan development, mineral reserve validation, production enhancements and cost improvements. The individual will also work closely with Maintenance and Purchasing department to provide engineer expertise. Contribute to production scheduling.   Perform all work in a safe and healthful manner with Company’s safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering and 3-5 year’s progressive work experience in a surface mine environment. Professional certification, a plus.

Additional requirements include excellent skills in organization, presentation, written and verbal communications. Sound knowledge of mine methods, costs, and productivity. AutoCAD, Vulcan and Gem Com knowledge.
