In addition, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating compliance to the CMS of contractors within the area of responsibility. Additional accountabilities include but are not limited to; ·         Supervision of contractor personnel during shut activities and during discreet projects with shutdowns.·         Actively ensuring compliance with Rio Tinto H&S standards.·         Resolve conflicts/interface issues with other work groups·         Conduct weekly meeting with key stakeholders on projects·         Track project work progression developing weekly reports·         Ensure safety learning's are shared through out Pilbara Iron and with contractors.·         Conduct monthly safety audits with Company Reps/Service Provider.·         Confirm understanding of project objectives and expectations·         Undertake investigations as required.·         Participate in pre-qualification audits as required.·         Continually monitor scope, time frame, budget, risk of plan against budget·         Manage project resources to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness·         Manage consultants on projects·         Periodic risk management and develop mitigation strategies.  It is essential that you can foster a culture of continuous improvement by developing, implementing and sustaining world's best practice maintenance techniques that help minimise shutdown times. This is a challenging role that is critical to the performance of the overall operation, and as such represents a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. Your success in this role will be underpinned by your sound understanding of proactive maintenance principles for operations, plant and equipment; working knowledge of plant operations requirements and strong leadership skills. You will have CMS training experience and preferably hold relevant trade qualification and possess project management experience in the mining or heavy industry environment. Applications close Sunday, 8th April.
