Responsibilities
For more than 90 years Joy Mining Machinery has built a reputation for integrity and ingenuity to become the global leader in the development, manufacture, distribution and service of underground coal mining equipment. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Parts Planner to join our Parkhurst site located near Rockhampton QLD on the beautiful Capricorn Coast.
You will play a leading role in the planning of OEM and after market for the manufacture and repair of Joy products throughout our plants.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
2 or more years experience in MRP based Planning/forecasting control systems
2 or more years experience and well-developed process control skills in SAP or equivalent Inventory system
Enthusiasm and determination to follow projects and problem solving through to resolution
Statistical and high analytical attributes
Well-developed interpersonal skills & team player.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Engineering drawing and BOM interpretation is highly sought after.
It is a challenging role dealing with a wide range of people both internally and externally, so you will need to be a self-starter and have great communication skills. Knowledge of the manufacturing process of heavy industrial equipment along with trade experience will be highly regarded.
