Due to continued growth within the Australian Mining and Resource Sector an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join our NSW Western Region Service Team based at onsite at the Ulan West mine.
Reporting to the NSW Western Region Service Manager, the Site Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of the services offered/contracted to be provided at Ulan West as well as managing any Life Cycle Management (LCM) agreements between the customer and Joy. Other responsibilities include ensuring optimum performance of Joy equipment with a high regard for safety and a zero harm mentality, productivity and reliability as well as generate accurate reporting internally and externally.
Essential, is previous underground experience as well as knowledge of underground mining operations, legislation and mine site requirements combined with
Experience in managing site based projects.
Business acumen, reading, interpreting and managing contracts
Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical principals
The ability to lead, mentor and deploy others within the work environment
Strong interpersonal skills and a strong customer service ethic
