PURPOSE
The Senior Integrity Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the Eagle Ford Production Unit (EPU) operated assets in the integrity discipline. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining systems and processes to assess, monitor, and continuously improve Facility Integrity Management in the EPU. This position will provide pipeline and integrity engineering support for onshore hydrocarbon production facilities, gathering systems, and associated processing/treatment facilities. He will also manage the design and implementation of small projects in his area of expertise on the operated assets as assigned.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Governance role to ensure engineering, maintenance, and project work is carried out in accordance with the required technical standards, processes, and procedures while operating in compliance with local regulation and Corporate standards.
- Own and continually improve the EPU integrity and inspection strategies and processes to ensure optimum balance between technical integrity, reliability, and cost.
- Provide technical leadership for pipeline and surface production equipment integrity management to the EPU Operations Team and foster effective relationships with the field operations teams.
- Provide technical input for preventative maintenance and risk based inspection strategies to support the EPU initiative of continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain specific KPI's for the measurement of integrity performance across the EPU, reporting against these KPI's to provide clear visibility of the delivery and effectiveness of the Integrity Management Strategies.
- Develop, optimize, and support the implementation of predictive and preventive strategies for pipelines, fixed equipment, structures, and pressure systems including development and management of condition based maintenance and fabric maintenance programs.
- Identify opportunities for vendor contractual agreements across the EPU to reduce support costs to the company.
- Monitor activities and developments in Integrity Management area in industry groups, regulators, and contractors to identify and support implementation of best practices across the EPU.
- Develop relationships with Integrity Management personnel in BHP's functional engineering group and other PU's worldwide to promote cross learning and improvement.

- EPU technical authority for integrity related issues associated with land based surface production equipment and pipelines.
- Provide technical expertise in the integrity discipline in support of EPU continuous improvement efforts to achieve maximum facilities uptime at lowest unit cost.
- Training and mentoring role for other EPU Integrity Engineers as well as Maintenance and Operations personnel for integrity related issues.
- Demonstrated HSEC leadership in a producing asset environment.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline
- Preferably Professional/Chartered Engineer or actively working towards Professional/Chartered status
Experience and Technical Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of pipeline and surface production equipment as it relates to integrity and maintenance
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience with minimum 2 year in Asset Integrity Management role
- Strong communications and influencing skills
- Knowledge of US and International equipment standards
- Knowledge of US Regulatory requirements – land based Texas operation
