Golder Associates Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with a strong background in the utility industry. This position can be located in either our Mount Laurel, New Jersey or Conshohocken, Pennsylvania office. This individual will be responsible for the following:
* Leadership in Golder's US Power Sector as it relates to business development, technical oversight and strategic planning in order to elevate Golder's practice and visibility within the Northeast US power/energy business community;
* Provide consultation and develop strategies to help clients respond to regulatory challenges which affect the utility industry;
* Participate in and manage multi-discipline projects within the Power Sector that could potentially involve facility siting and licensing, design engineering, permitting, and environmental compliance projects.
Job Requirements:
* B.S. in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or a related degree; a Masters degree is preferred;
* A minimum of 15 years of experience in the environmental field managing energy facility, siting, licensing, permitting, remediation and/or compliance projects for the power sector;
* Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and database software;
* Excellent communication skills;
* Willingness to travel and work independently, as well as in a team;
* Strong background of client development and regulatory agency interaction;
* Strong project management experience with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, etc.
