In addition, you will manage the process and tools for identifying and prioritising training needs and work with subject matter experts to develop internal work method procedures or source external training packages to industry standards and coordinate the delivery and competency evidence of relevant training.
You will also be an informed advisor in high risk licensing requirements, mentor to apprentices, and a Department leader and influencer in technical writing skills and experience.

These roles require values based individuals with skills and personal attributes including:

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is essential.
• Ability to develop detailed technical documents for maintenance activities is essential.
• Understanding of maintenance/asset management principles is essential, trade qualifications preferred.
• Knowledge of minerals processing will be highly regarded.
• High level computer skills especially with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
• Current knowledge of High Risk Licensing compliance.
• Ability to manage a Department and Skills Matrix and staff Development Plans.
• Knowledge of competency based assessment.
• Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and demonstrate well-developed influencing skills.
• Well-developed time management and organisational skills combined with the ability to meet the demands of a changing work environment and shifting priorities.
