Western Coal Corporation, operating as Energybuild, operates Aberpergwm Colliery which is an underground drift mine operating in Glynneath, within the heart of South Wales. At Aberpergwm, we are currently expanding our operations to access a new area of reserves which will extend the life of the mine for the foreseeable future, utilising highly mechanised state-of-the-art systems.

Vacant Position/s:                           Electrical Craft & Supervisory

Location:                                           Aberpergwm Colliery, Glynneath, South Wales

Duties and responsibilities:  The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out all electrical duties both underground and on the surface. The work is varied in nature, and will require working both as part of a team and individually. This will include maintenance, repairs, commissioning and fault-finding, allowing the successful candidates to experience all aspects of their craft.

Skills & Experience:               Successful applicants must have at least an Electrical Craft MQB Class 2 certificate, or be working towards it. We are also recruiting those with Class 1 certificates for supervisory duties.
