Aerotek is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer for a client in the Denver, CO area. Our client is a full-service, multidisciplinary engineering and design firm, providing customers help in selecting and implementing capital and maintenance projects in the Energy sector.
Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5 plus years experience for a 6 month contract to hire position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Power system analysis including short circuit, load flow, protective device coordination, transient motor starting and arc flash hazard analysis.
Design of power systems with voltage ratings up to 15 kV.
Motor starter and circuit breaker control schematics and wiring diagrams.
Development and management of databases. Grounding system analysis and design.
Qualifications Candidates must have:
BSEE from accredited university, MSEE a plus.
Five plus years of Electrical Engineering experience.
PE license, or ability to obtain Colorado PE license within one year of hire a huge plus.
Working knowledge of the latest version of the NEC.
Experience with design and layout of facility, electrical systems within power generating stations, gas compressors and storage facilities and other heavy industrial plants.
Demonstrated and strong communications skills that foster internal project team and client success.
