GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure mill and heap leach operations are efficient, productive, and cost effective. Candidate will be involved with production planning to achieve Life of Mine targets, reagent monitoring and reporting, troubleshooting and evaluation of plant performance and coordination of production plans with operations and maintenances. The Metallurgist ensures that the processing facilities are both safe and within environmental compliance. Other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or equivalent process related degrees required
• Two or more years milling and/or heap leach metallurgical experience preferred
• Ability to identify plant or environmental issues, research, analyze information and draw conclusions, and execute solutions required
• Proficiency in multiple software applications required
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of position required
