GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include: Safely and effectively performs preventive maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of power distribution centers, switchgear, motors and controls, process controls and instrumentation of the Ruby Hill Site. Must be willing to work, shifts, overtime and callouts. Other duties as assigned.


SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Satisfactory safety record, attendance record and performance record required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 (two) years experience performing electrical and instrumentation duties required. May substitute 2 (two) years of trade school or equivalent training for two years of required experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, follow instructions and provide feedback required.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation circuits required.
• Some experience with PLC controls, troubleshooting and programming, experience with variable frequency drives preferred.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position under all adverse weather conditions required.
• Ability to maintain housekeeping standards to a high level required.
• Ability to work as a team with multiple departments across the site required.
