They have an outstanding opportunity for a results driven individual to join their Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution Equipment team to further develop their skills and experience in the electricity industry and contribute to the ongoing success of my client’s power business.

The position is Project Execution where your responsibilities will include the execution of maintenance and upgrade of existing power installations across Australia.

The role will include:

Reporting to the General Manager in Brisbane you role will include liaising with clients to assist in the maintenance, upgrading and servicing of their existing company equipment.

Assisting in the development of new business opportunities for a broad range of equipment and services such as turbines, generators, switchgear, transformers and other products supplied by overseas affiliates and my client’s group of companies.

Receive customer enquiries for equipment supply/maintenance, collate enquiries/forward enquiries to suppliers or subcontractors and coordinate as appropriate.

Following up with suppliers to ensure speedy response and prompt service is provided. Coordinate contracts for equipment supply, installation, maintenance including on-site management and coordination as required.


Ideally you should have the following:

• Bachelor of Engineering (either in Electrical (Power) or Mechanical Engineering).
• Trade qualifications with appropriate industry experience may be considered.
• Up to 5 years experience in industry. (Preferably power equipment manufacturer/supplier, power generation/distribution, mining or construction industry)
• Must be willing to travel and work away from Brisbane for various periods sometimes up to 3 months at a stretch (typically QLD and Victoria).
