Aker Solutions MMO based in Trondheim is one of the lead suppliers of services within maintenance and modifications in the oil and gas industry. In addition Aker Solutions MMO delivers early stage studies for development of existing oil and gas fields.
We need experienced engineers and talents who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans in our office in Trondheim. We are looking for: Senior Electrical Engineer.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Participate in concept study and project execution in modification projects
• PRE ( project responsible engineer) activities for electrical equipment
• Evaluation of power generation and distribution, power analyses as well as cost, measurement and weight estimation in a multi discipline environment.
• Spesify datasheet, documentation and follow-up vendors and electro equipment
• Power system analyses from all phases of a project which may comprise: short cicuit estimations, load flow estimations, harmonic analyses, selectivity analyses, transient stability analyses
• Measurement  of voltage quality and power system dynamics
• Sporadic offshore surveys

Qualifications & personal attributes

Master degree ( MSc) with relevant background
• Bachelor degree (BSc) ) with relevant background
• Good knowledge of relevant rules & regulations
• Preferably experience from oil & gas industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to take initiative and to be flexible
• Good communication skills written and orally in both English and Norwegian
