THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil & gas company to provide a Project Controls Engineer. Client would prefer candidates residing in Texas. Minimum travel anticipated. 12 - 24 months (renewable) contract. Excellent rates. This vacancy is being handled by our Houston office.
THE PERSON
Minimum 5-10 years experience from multi-discipline projects, preferably onshore or maintenance projects. Provide planning support to team for both operations (drilling & completions) and mid-stream activities. Responsibilities could also include the budgeting, tracking, and forecasting of capital costs associated with the projects. Preparation of weekly and monthly reporting. Preferred candidate will be able to liaise with a cross section of disciplines to develop an integrated schedule for all Client activities. Able to utilize Primavera P6 to develop schedules with resources. Knowledge of loading and leveling resources is required along with the ability to export/import bulk data into the schedule. Ability to obtain buy-in of the schedule from the team through demonstration of capabilities is a must.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
A University degree in engineering / business administration or equivalent is preferred. Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 & Microsoft Excel is required. Knowledge in Kildrummy Cost Manager, Prism, Visual Basic, and databases is a plus. Preferred candidate would be a self-starter, persistent, team player, and require minimal supervision. Fluent in written and spoken English. Eligible to live and work in the USA.
